Welcome! I am a trumpet player and teacher in Fairfax County in Northern Virginia. In 2007 I received a Masters in Trumpet Performance from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. I also graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Ithaca College School of Music with a degree in Music Performance and Education in December 2004. I perform with the Capital Wind Symphony and am an active freelance musician in the DC metropolitan area. I am also a member of the innovative dance band Elixir, based in Brattleboro, VT. In addition to my private studio, I teach at the Del Ray School of Music in Alexandria and through Music and Arts locations in Northern Virginia. My students range from those just picking up the instrument to more experienced players wishing to hone their skills.
